Dainya Nida

Victim Statement — Recruited at Age 14

Court

Palm Beach County Circuit Court

Duration

22:40

Dainya Nida was identified as one of the victims in the Palm Beach investigation. She was recruited at age 14 and gave statements to law enforcement describing the abuse and recruitment pattern.

Transcript

Dainya Nida stated that she was 14 years old in approximately 2004 when she was recruited by another girl at Royal Palm Beach High School to visit Jeffrey Epstein’s mansion. She was told she could earn hundreds of dollars for a simple massage.

When Nida arrived at the El Brillo Way estate, she was led through the kitchen and up the back stairway to a massage room on the second floor. Epstein was waiting on the massage table. What was presented as a massage quickly became sexual abuse. She was paid $200 to $300 afterward.

Nida stated that she returned to the mansion multiple times. Each visit followed the same routine. She described feeling trapped by the money — her family was in financial difficulty, and the payments were significant for a teenager. She said the situation felt wrong but she did not know how to stop going back.

She described seeing other girls at the mansion during her visits and recognized some from her school. The recruitment network extended through Royal Palm Beach High School and other local schools, with girls telling friends about the opportunity to earn quick cash.

Nida stated that she eventually stopped going to the mansion but carried the trauma of the experience into adulthood. She struggled with depression, substance issues, and difficulty in relationships. She described the sense of shame and secrecy that kept her silent for years.

Nida came forward as part of the Palm Beach Police Department investigation and was one of the identified victims whose accounts contributed to Detective Recarey’s probable cause affidavit. She later expressed anger at the Non-Prosecution Agreement, saying the victims were treated as disposable while their abuser received a minimal sentence.
